money governs our system in which we live right now, but knowledge willdefy & yet prove the facts about endless dollars that are spent in ourworldly developing lifetime.
i would much rather (in almost any lifetime) have all the knowledge in theworld than all the money in the world! not because i don’t need to be rich, butbecause spreading that knowledge would be infinitively more bliss-full &pleasurable than passing around money to people everyday.

很顯然，前者知道他的零花錢是怎么來的，所以會進一步努力，爭取每個星期都得到這樣的獎勵。這不但是錢的問題，更是一種榮譽。而后者會認為，他得到這些零花錢是“理所當(dāng)然”的，因為其他孩子也有;說不定還會嫌少，因為橫向比較后總有一些孩子的零花錢數(shù)額比他高。并且，他并沒有明確自己怎么使用這些零花錢，所以容易導(dǎo)致他在和同學(xué)攀比中亂消費，最終反受其害。
從中容易看出，我們的零花錢能不能真正發(fā)揮作用，關(guān)鍵在于我們的價值觀。
一份調(diào)查表明，在現(xiàn)在的小學(xué)生和初中生中，77%的孩子感到自己的零花錢“不夠用”，18%感到“勉強夠用”，認為夠用的只有5%。并且隨著年齡增長，孩子對零花錢需求的胃口也越來越大。
而這些零花錢究竟用到什么地方去了呢?
調(diào)查表明，小學(xué)生的零花錢主要是用在了購買零食、玩具和文具上;從小學(xué)高年級開始使用范圍急劇擴大，生日聚會時邀請同學(xué)去歌廳唱通宵、請客送禮的比比皆是，還覺得這樣挺有面子。
但顯而易見，在了解到有關(guān)財商知識后，我們就應(yīng)該明確，一旦我們有了“收入來源”，就要樹立起“資產(chǎn)”、“負債”的概念，了解基本的財務(wù)知識，慢慢學(xué)會承擔(dān)相應(yīng)的財務(wù)責(zé)任。
只有這樣，才會在克服“零花錢是我理所當(dāng)然得到的”同時，正確我、合理使用零花錢。如果我們有了零花錢卻不知道怎么用，就很難發(fā)揮零花錢的應(yīng)有作用。
在這其中，很重要的一點是，我們要向父母或其他長輩征詢意見，和他們一起確立財務(wù)目標(biāo)，也就是說接下來這個月、這一年中要辦成哪幾樣“大事”。
要知道，這種一起和父母研究、討論財務(wù)計劃的過程，本身就是在學(xué)習(xí)怎樣實現(xiàn)財務(wù)目標(biāo)。當(dāng)最終實現(xiàn)這個目標(biāo)時，我們會從中受到極大鼓舞，很有成就感。
舉個例子來說，小敏想買一臺學(xué)習(xí)機，這時候他已經(jīng)有了一定的零花錢和長輩給的壓歲錢，可是還差那么一點。這時候就可以和父母一起商量：要買學(xué)習(xí)機還差多少錢?怎樣才能籌到這些錢(不是單純地向父母討，而是通過自己的勞動付出賺取，這體現(xiàn)了前面所說的錢的交換功能)?這樣，他就會加倍努力，爭取早日湊到這些錢。
當(dāng)小敏最終用他自己的零花錢，買到他夢寐以求的學(xué)習(xí)機后，一定會興奮異常，很有成就感，甚至到處宣揚“這是用我自己的錢買的”。
