the dream came true
----the first day i work for the 2024 olympics
i woke up and looked at my watch. oh my god, it’s 7:30 already! i have to get up at once otherwise i’ll be late. today i’ll take the australian athletes as a tour guide around beijing, and i’m going to be the interpreter at the beijing olympic games opening ceremony tomorrow. this has always been a dream of mine since beijing won the bid of the olympics, and now the dream has finally come true—i have already become a successful interpreter. and today is another important day of my interpreting career. i’m a little nervous but, of course, very e_cited. here goes my plan for today:
well, our first destination is, surely, the landmark of beijing, the symbol of the 5000 years’ civilization—the forbidden city—where the emperors and empresses of the ming and qing dynasties lived, and it’s really grand. it was renovated recently because of the coming olympics.
the second place we are going to is the great wall. this is the only building, i hear, that can been seen from the moon, and it represents the diligence and the wisdom of whole chinese nation.
now, it’s time for lunch. we plan to have… what? you say "beijing duck"? yeah, right you are! we’ll come back to the center of beijing, and we’ll have dinner at "quanjude" restaurant. you can enjoy the most delicious chinese food—beijing duck, and you must be very pleased to hear this! then i’ll show you around the summer palace. it’s the royal garden for the emperors and empresses of the qing dynasty to pass the hot summers.
after visiting those historical places, you’ll surely be impressed by the long-lasting history of our great country. at the same time, during the journey of moving from one place of interest to another, we won’t miss having a glance of beijing’s modern civilization. the skyscrapers, beautiful avenues and advanced facilities must also catch your eyes. and we’ll also have a chance to e_perience beijing’s fast development in person. we’ll do some shopping at the shopping center near the olympics village. you can buy everything there of course e_cept guns and drugs which are seriously forbidden in china. to see is to believe. what you see and e_perience will be strong prove of your choice to beijing, china!
that’s all about my plan for the day. what do you think of it, my friends? today, i’m very proud to be here to give a speech about a dream, a dream for which we worked together for nine years or even more. as beijing becomes the host city of the 29th olympic games, every beijinger cares for the environment and good manners and behaviors much more than before. now beijing has already made herselves’ dream come true. so i must work harder to catch up with her steps. knowing the hardness of making a dream into reality, i need to do my best at every side of my work, so then i believe my little dream—to be an interpreter—will definitely be realized someday in the future!
thank you

good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen; when i was in the primary school, i had a dream, i want to invent a device which could bring you from one place to another in no time at all. when i was in the secondary school, my dream was to study in my ideal university. and when eventually i got into the university, my dream was to graduate. how pathetic! when we grow up, we dream less and become more realistic. why? why do we have to change our dreams, so, so in order to let it be “fulfilled”? why do we have to surrender to the so-called “reality”? what is the reality actually?
ladies and gentlemen, the reality is not real. it is barrier keeping us from all possible fantasies. flying, for e_ample, had been a dream to mankind for thousands of years. a hundred years ago, “man could not fly” was still regarded as the “reality”. now if that was really the reality, what did the wright brothers do? how did some of you get to macao? only when we believe that the reality is not real can we soar with our dreams. people say that our future is a battle between the reality and our dreams. and if, unfortunately, mr.reality wins this war, then i see no future of mankind at all. aids will never be curable as this is the reality; people living in the undeveloped countries will suffer from starvation forever as this is the reality; disputes among different countries would never be settled as this misunderstandings and intolerance is the reality.
ladies and gentlemen, how many of you have a dream of being able to make a lot of money? please raise your hands. oh, quite a number of you! actually, ladies and gentlemen, this is not a dream, but a task. every one of us has to make a living, right? anyway i hope your task will be accomplished. how many of you think hat you have already fulfilled your dream and that you don’t dream anymore? dear adjudicators, what do you think? c.s.lewis once said, “you are never too old to dream a new dream. “so for our future, please dream and be unrealistic. now that i am university student, my goal is to graduate with e_cellences. but at the same time, i have dream deeply rooted in our future. one day, people living in the areas now sweltering with the horror of wars will be able to sit with their families and enjoy their every moment. one day, from the rich countries are willing to share what they have with those from the poor countries and those from the countries will eventually be able to make their own happy living themselves. one day , different cultures in this age of globalization will coe_ist with tolerance and the unfriendly confrontations among them will be eliminated. one day, the globe will share the dream with me and we will all contribute to making our dream come true. one day, our dream will defeat the reality!
thank you very much!
everyone has a dream. now i"ll talk about my dream i what is my dream? i often ask myself. when i was a little boy, i wanted to be a soldier with a gun so that i could defend our motherland.
now i am a young boy with a new dream——to be a doctor. i want to be a famous doctor, helping the sick and saving their lives. why has my dream changed? well, at the age of 11 i was ill, badly ill. i was told that i had cancer. i had to leave both my school and my friends and go to the hospital. every day i suf-fered the troubles caused by this illness.
i also saw some people who were suffering and dying of ill-nesses. i made up my mind to become a doctor, so that i can help the sick people and cure them of their diseases. china is a develop-ing country. she needs good medicine and good doctors, especially in the countryside and lonely villages.
i want to try my best to help the poor sick people of our country. i want to let them have an opportunity to receive e_cel-lent treatments for their illnesses without having to pay much or any money.
i"ll do every bit to cure the incurable. i hope to see a world where there is no cancer, no aids, no fatal diseases. i"m confident that through the joint efforts of you and me, man will put an end to his bodily sufferings and this dream of mine will one day be brought into reality.
hello, everyone. the topic of my speech is: where college dreams come true.
please tell me bravely, do you want to achieve the dream in your heart? sun wu, a military strategist in ancient china, once said: the wise, the faithful, the benevolent, the brave and the strict also. let"s live up to our dreams today under his guidance.
first, the " wisdom" of college students
as a college student, holding his own future in his hand. if there is no great wisdom, then his future must be dim. so how do we realize our wisdom in college? mr lee kai - fu once pointed out in his letter to college students that college students should have the way of self - study, to be able to do the opposite three or even no teacher self - taught. this requires our own reasonable management and use of resources and time, so that we can become a true intellectual in the university.
ii. letters from university students
" letter" is the root of human behavior. " faith" is an intangible but valuable asset. if we want to deal with our personal relationship, we must first do the letter, we always like and keep the promise of people become true friends, and such a true friend in your future career to help you is always money can"t replace.
third, the " benevolence" of college students
" benevolence" is the most basic point of view in chinese confucianism, now can be understood as friendly, as a college student, we should be friendly to everyone in life, maybe he is not good now, but you can"t predict whether he is your boss after five years, ten years.
four, college students " yong"
our college students should face all kinds of challenges bravely. courage is not fearless, but fearful is still forward! in learning and life, when encountered difficulties and criticism need " yong", this time of " yong" is to be able to not afraid of difficulties and obstacles, always adhere to the self in the right direction; and in the learning life e_perience failure when more need " yong", then " yong" is not abandoned, don"t give up, can stand up to success.
five, college students " strict"
as college students, we should strictly require ourselves. can save my body, see _ian si qi, see not _ian is introspection, at the same time proceed with caution, not indulge yourself. but also have a firm perseverance and constant perseverance, such a person is the closest to success. imagine a person at sunset qin chu, three changes a day, how can success care for him? god will only care for those who have the same perseverance.
now, for the sake of our dream in the heart, please shout out these five words with me, i shout a everyone shout a ( come, let"s shout ): wisdom, letter, benevolence, yong, yan.
thank you.

five score years ago, a great american, in whose symbolic shadow we stand signed the emancipation proclamation. this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of captivity.
but one hundred years later, we must face the tragic fact that the negro is still not free. one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is still languishing in the corners of american society and finds himself an e_ile in his own land. so we have come here today to dramatize an appalling condition.
in a sense we have come to our nation"s capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men would be guaranteed the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check which has come back marked "insufficient funds." but we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. we refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation.
so we have come to cash this check -- a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.
we have also come to this hallowed spot to remind america of the fierce urgency of now. this is no time to engage in the lu_ury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. now is the time to open the doors of opportunity to all of god"s children. now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.
it would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment and to underestimate the determination of the negro. this sweltering summer of the negro"s legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. nineteen si_ty-three is not an end, but a beginning.
those who hope that the negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. there will be neither rest nor tranquility in america until the negro is granted his citizenship rights. the whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.
but there is something that i must say to my people who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice. in the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.
we must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. we must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.
the marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the negro community must not lead us to distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny and their freedom is ine_tricably bound to our freedom.
we cannot walk alone.and as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall march ahead. we cannot turn back. there are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, "when will you be satisfied?" we can never be satisfied as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities. we cannot be satisfied as long as the negro"s basic mobility is from a smaller ghetto to a larger one. we can never be satisfied as long as a negro in mississippi cannot vote and a negro in new york believes he has nothing for which to vote. no, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.
i"m sure everybody is interested in dream, so i will share a story with you.
when we talk about dreams,we are so e_cited.we all have our own dreams, some want to be teachers, others want to be doctors, others want to be scientists.however, not all dreams can come true,as people always give them up for some reason.
a dream is to a man what wings are to a bird. with a dream in the deep heart`s core, a man is spontaneously driven to hitch his wagon to a star. a dream is an ine_haustible source of energy that keeps our enthusiasm burning, and kindles our desire to enhance our spiritual cultivation, refine our character, and upgrade our quality of life. a life without a dream is like a bird with broken wings, confined to a cage and oblivious of what lies beyond the range of its vision. on the contrary, a man with a dream is like a warrior armed with ambition, foresight and gallantry, daring to step into an unknown domain to make a journey of adventure. it is dream that adds fullness, variety, and spice to our life and makes it worth living.
i would like to take liu _iang as an e_ample.liu,as the first chinese man to win an olympic track and field medal, dreamed of defending his olympic title on home soil.to achieve this dream,he was bathed with sweat on the training ground every day.what’s more, now and then he suffered injuries.however, neither the injury nor the pressure has prevented him from striving to achieve the goal.eventually,he kept or even renewed his record in the men’s 110-meter hurdle with his perseverance.
it is true that barriers may sometimes stand in the way of your dreams, but remember success is hiding behind them.instead of making dozens of e_cuses for your failure, just think about liu _iang’s story, hold on your dreams and never give up.
if you do not want your dreams to come to naught, then hold fast to your dreams and never give up.just as the saying goes,”do not,for one repulse, forgo the purpose that you resolved to effect.”
if you can do the following points, your dreams will come true one day.first, plant your dream in a fertilized soil.second, water it with your diligence and give it the best food----knowledge.third,remove the seeds of unhappiness for they can destory your dream.the most important is let the seed of your dream enjoy the beautiful sunshine,so what it can grow well.and however hard the situation is,o not give it up and always give it your best care.then you will get a good harvest in the end.
dreams are what we pursue for a lifetime, with many dreams,we have motivation to fight for our life.the opposite side of dream is reality.we have to face reality everyday, reality is what we perceive in our life.reality always frustrates us to be successful.we need to balance them.

as the saying goes, what wakes you up in the morning is not your alarm clock, but you dream. the future is unknowable, but dream give us the direction .in some moment maybe the reality is harsh and you are suffering much. if you have a dream, even a very small one, it will light your life in the darkness and keep you hiding from the reality, for dream will give you the energy to fight.
however, sometimes it seems that what is practical and sensible does not connect with your most treasured dreams. i am a freshman ,indeed my college life is not as colorful as imagined before, all plans and goals just be hung up。i’m very afraid that even if i graduated from college, i still couldn’t find a job and then had a better life. faced with the cruel reality,we college students should really make good use of these facilities and learn as much useful knowledge as possible。then after graduation, we would find it’s much easier to get a decent job.
when i am a little girl,my father gave me two cups filled with soil,he asked me to water one cup every day。two weeks later, tender leaves appeared in the cup that i watered everyday。father said to me:“the seed represents for your dream, without sweat and effort,it won’t come out .by no means will your dream turn into reality if you never pay for it.”
from this story i learn that if i intend to full my dreams ,i must work hard, make efforts ,and get prepared ,otherwise i will get no possibility to succeed.

ladies and gentlemen:
it’s my great honor to stand here to share my speech with you. today the topic of my speech is: the pursuit of dream.
now let’s think of our old days as we were students in primary schools. have you ever remembered that the teachers often ask questions as “what’s your dream?”, or “what are you want to be in the future?” and what’s your answer in that childish and fantastic age? has anyone of you answered like this: “i want to be a painter”, or “i want to be a scientist”, or “i plan to be a police”?
a few years later, we start our new journey of study in high schools and become mature and practical in our mind. then, have you ever changed your dreams? if so, what’s it?
but now, i think, most of us become down-to-earth and the dream is more practical than before. however, have you taken actions to pursue your dream? are you working hard enough to make your dream come true?
as for myself, i have dreamed to be an e_cellent police in high school due to there are so many thefts in my hometown while they are seldom caught. sooner i have realized how ridiculous am i and now i turn to realistic: i just want to be a translator.
how do i pursue my dream?
first of all, i try my best to correct the pronunciation and read the te_tbook or other english magazines such as: english weekly, english salon and the like. i try to do this day by day. now i have improved my reading ability a lot and it also enlarged my vocabulary.
secondly, i often do some translating e_tension and embrace my teacher’s suggestion. it benefits me much.
last but not the least, i realize my dream by reading chinese literature. maybe you will say it’s what the chinese major students should do. if you say so, you are badly wrong. for as an english major student, how can you know others well if you even don’t familiar with your country? on the other hand, it also benefits me in translation and writing.
in a word, i have already working in my dream. what about you?
that’s all. thank you.

but not only that:

i am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.
five score years ago, a great american, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the emancipation proclamation. this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.

we cannot walk alone.
and as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead.
we cannot turn back.
there are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, "when will you be satisfied?" we can never be satisfied as long as the negro is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality. we can never be satisfied as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities. we cannot be satisfied as long as a negro in mississippi cannot vote and a negro in new york believes he has nothing for which to vote. no, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until "justice rolls down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream."i am not unmindful that some of you have come here out of great trials and tribulations. some of you have come fresh from narrow jail cells. and some of you have come from areas where your quest -- quest for freedom left you battered by the storms of persecution and staggered by the winds of police brutality. you have been the veterans of creative suffering. continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive. go back to mississippi, go back to alabama, go back to south carolina, go back to georgia, go back to louisiana, go back to the slums and ghettos of our northern cities, knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed.
let us not wallow in the valley of despair, i say to you today, my friends.
and so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, i still have a dream. it is a dream deeply rooted in the american dream.
i have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "we hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."
i have a dream that one day on the red hills of georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
i have a dream that one day even the state of mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.
i have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
i have a dream today!
i have a dream that one day, down in alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of "interposition" and "nullification" -- one day right there in alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.
i have a dream today!
i have a dream that one day every valley shall be e_alted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight; "and the glory of the lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together."?
this is our hope, and this is the faith that i go back to the south with.
with this faith, we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. with this faith, we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. with this faith, we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.
and this will be the day -- this will be the day when all of god"s children will be able to sing with new meaning:
my country "tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee i sing.
land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrim"s pride,
from every mountainside, let freedom ring!
and if america is to be a great nation, this must become true.
and so let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of new hampshire.
let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of new york.
let freedom ring from the heightening alleghenies of
pennsylvania.
let freedom ring from the snow-capped rockies of colorado.
let freedom ring from the curvaceous slopes of california.
but not only that:
let freedom ring from stone mountain of georgia.
let freedom ring from lookout mountain of tennessee.
let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of mississippi.
from every mountainside, let freedom ring.
and when this happens, when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of god"s children, black men and white men, jews and gentiles, protestants and catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old negro spiritual:
free at last! free at last!
thank god almighty, we are free at last!

dreams are the best wishes of our hearts, we strive for the goal, is our motivation. a dream in life is bright, is wonderful. everyone has their own dreams heart, but most people feel that their dream is just a dream, it must be like and not illusory and, therefore it buried deep in my heart, not even the ground-breaking opportunity to it, so that the dream how beautiful and fragrant flowers it bears flowers.
i think the teacher is very sacred, very great. is the teacher, the education of a naive child to a respect for teachers, aware of the boy; a teacher, bring a child into a playful inquisitive, a good student strive for e_cellence. teachers with the knowledge nectar, the students poured the ideal flowers open, with the heart of the springs run education students in the united states sentiment fruit. if the students compared to the flowers, that teacher is a gardener, teacher leaves the flowers pruning shears, fertilizer, weed and make the flowers grow. if the students lost compared to the lamb, and that the teacher is guiding people who, teachers direction for the students to enable students to clarify their direction. so, my dream is to be a teacher. teachers to the motherland and the people trained personnel to contribute. a child, i had many dreams, there is a beautiful literary dreams, a colorful star dreams, there are wonderful designers dream. growing up, i am constantly learning from, and found my real dream, and found that for the motherland and the people to contribute to the dream, that is, as a teacher.
i know, no matter how brilliant it is only words of wisdom and passion of the moment, only to learn the road to success is to open in the flowers. so, i will study hard, work hard to achieve my dream and work hard. i believe that the dream though very far away, but as long as the stick to action to realize there will be one day!

i am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.
five score years ago, a great american, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the emancipation proclamation. this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.
but one hundred years later, the negro still is not free. one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is still languished in the corners of american society and finds himself an e_ile in his own land. and so we"ve come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.
in a sense we"ve come to our nation"s capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the "unalienable rights" of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked "insufficient funds."
but we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. we refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation. and so, we"ve come to cash this check, a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.
we have also come to this hallowed spot to remind america of the fierce urgency of now. this is no time to engage in the lu_ury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. now is the time to make justice a reality for all of god"s children.
from every mountainside, let freedom ring and when this happens, when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of god"s children, black men and white men, jews and gentiles, protestants and catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old negro spiritual:free at last! free at last!
thank god almighty, we are free at last!

everyone has a dream. i often ask myself. when i was a little boy, i wanted to be a soldier with a gun so that i could defend our motherland.now i am a young boy with a new dream——to be a doctor. i want to be a famous doctor, helping the sick and saving their lives.
i also saw some people who were suffering and dying of ill-nesses. i made up my mind to become a doctor, so that i can help the sick people and cure them of their diseases. china is a develop-ing country. she needs good medicine and good doctors, especially in the countryside and lonely villages.
i want to try my best to help the poor sick people of our country. i want to let them have an opportunity to receive e_cel-lent treatments for their illnesses without having to pay much or any money.
i"ll do every bit to cure the incurable. i hope to see a world where there is no cancer, no aids, no fatal diseases. i"m confident that through the joint efforts of you and me, man will put an end to his bodily sufferings and this dream of mine will one day be brought into reality.

wide sea diving, the days of the birds to fly. everyone carries a dream of their own.
however, what is the dream? what is dream? dream is looking forward to, and the dream is strong - is fleeting dream you insist on the ideal as their courage and perseverance, are you responsible for their own highest level. but ask yourself, how many of us to accomplish his original dream in mind?
our dream is a simple belief, is a future and life of their own responsibility. perhaps, is the youth
grand ambitions; perhaps, is the adolescent confusion and impulsive; maybe just a plain desire, desire applause, eager for success. countless "may," innumerable "hope" because of our youthful full of miracles, large and small dreams in our hearts, in every corner of life filled with fragrance.
only the ideal but no effort is useless. if you want to be a teacher, you should to study hard. if you want to be a player, you should do more e_ercises. if you want to become a businessman, he should learn to get along with people. for e_ample, my wish is to be a famous writer grew up, because i really love writing, so from now on, i should read more, more accumulate knowledge, and strive to improve writing level. no pains, no gains, because my efforts, so my article was punished in many newspapers , and in many composition contest, i see the success i"m happy, so, struggle is the bridge to the ideal.
yes, my dream. to give my famliy a warm, give my friend happy. yes, my dream. the podium from the first station began his love this place, started from the first published an article looking forward to the world of words, decided to stay here from the beginning, stick to bottom of my heart desire.
years in our faces no matter how many additional traces, no matter how much things to us across the chest wounds, as long as we have the right to breathe, to have a passion for remodeling dreams! o_ygen to survive as long as we have to have the courage to create a passion!
choose to continue, select the value, select the achievements of the passion of life, the brave hearts of the initial dream of success!

good morning/afternoon, dear teachers and my friends. i’m a student from no.2 middle school of qugou. my name is zhao bingjie. i’m very glad to stand here to make a short speech for you. today my speech topic is “embrace the dream”.
many people have a dream about the future besides me. i had a beautiful dream since i was a young little girl. i really want to be an outstanding writer like guo jingming in the future, because i liked reading very much when i was a child. so, i practice writing articles in my free time, by doing that i feel very comfortable. i love my dream and i will try my best to make my dream come true.
it’s about my dream, what about you? do you have a dream? do you think everyone has their own dreams? in fact, you are wrong. many people never thought about future and what they will be like. they never have a dream . it’s not good for them. only have dreams, then we can know what we should do for our dreams and try our best to make them true. so, it’s important and necessary to have a dream.
someone once said that success comes from a dream. so, fellow students, let’s have a dream, and embrace the dream. then, we will have a beautiful tomorrow!
my speech is over, thanks for your listening.

關于夢想的英語my understanding of dreams
good morning, it's my honor to stand here and give you this speech about dreams. there i want to start my speech with two short stories.
the first story happened when i was in primary school, i wrote in my composition that my dream was to be a teacher when i grew up. meanwhile, what my classmates wrote about their dreams was that he or she wanted to be a doctor, a scientist or an astronaut.
the second story happened at my first year in university. at the careers planning class, when the teacher asked about our dreams, one of my classmates stood up and said, “i want to be a farmer, because i grow up in a farmer's family and i love to be engaged in agriculture.” when he sat down, everyone clapped.
these two stories happened during my growth process, from which i got my understanding of dreams. when i was a child i believed that a dream must be a big dream, but when i grow up i find this big dream is so far away from me, i know little about it, and i have done nothing to achieve it, so it's not my dream. my classmate's answer let me know a real dream is not just about being a great man, or doing a great job, it's about what you really want to be, and are willing to try every effort to pursue it.
because what makes a dream valuable is not just about the result, it's also about the process, the process when you are trying, when you are struggling, when you failed and restarted again and again, because of the process, dreams can be meaningful and become your wealth.
thank you.

hold fast to your dreams
i have a dream today.
i have a dream that one day every vally shall be e_alted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.
wow, what a dream it has been for martin luther king. but the changing world seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow in the process of growing up, and sometimes i personally find myself saying goodbye unconsciously to those distant childhood dreams.
however, we meed dreams. they nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality. they keep us going. most successful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great. when we were little kids, we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant. now what we need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. however, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into actions. well, just start with concrete objectives and stick to it. don’t let the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of future. through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through our creativity, we will make it.
hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. so my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today.
